Alfred Morris required a touch of makeup Thursday, embarking on a full press tour on Super Bowl XLVIII Radio Row.

Redskins.com writer Brian Tinsman shadowed Morris for a behind the scenes look at Morris’ press docket. NFL Network captured Morris first for an appearance with LaVar Arrington and Lenovo Fantasy Coach of The Year Dalton Gauman.

Morris  said on air the 2013 season was a “tough pill to swallow,” but his offseason training helped him avoid a sophomore slump. He also gave his opinion on Jay Gruden.

“I think he did a great job his past three seasons with the Bengals and turning their offense around, so I’m actually excited to see what he’s able to do with us,” Morris said.  “I’m just ready for … the offseason program and OTAs to start so we can get into this playbook.”

While previewing Super Bowl XLVIII, Morris picked the Seahawks to beat the Broncos. He said Seattle’s defense will be too tough for Knowshon Moreno.

“They’re too hungry over there,” Morris said. “They’re ferocious over there. They’re like starving wolves over there. They’re going to do whatever it takes to keep you (from) not being successful on the ground.”

After his first interview, Morris took Lenovo Fantasy COY Gauman with him to interviews with Sirius XM radio, SI Now and Pro Football Talk.
